Looking for colour, without chasing a date

The larches change colour in autumn, while many other trees in the woods stay green. The contrast makes the landscape striking, but the intensity and length of the foliage season vary from year to year.

A shorter walk, a longer pause

The days grow shorter. Set out with enough daylight to spare, choose suitable routes and check the terrain and conditions. Stopping to look at the landscape is worth as much as reaching a destination.

Bellamonte out of high season

Bellamonte lies at around 1,370 metres and Lake Forte Buso, at the gateway to the Paneveggio Park, is 4 km from the residence. For restaurants, mountain huts and lifts, check opening times before you set off. Plan simple days out and keep an alternative in mind in case of rain.
