01 · DOWNHILL SKIING
Alpe Lusia, from the Bellamonte side.
The Bellamonte 3.0 gondola climbs from Castelir (1,553 m) to Le Fassane (1,793 m) and on to La Morea (1,967 m): 414 metres of ascent in 10-person cabins. The Alpe Lusia ski area links the Bellamonte side with the Moena side.

- Forte Dossaccio: from Castelir, 8.1 km, 3 h 15’, +330 m, easy; it leads to an Austro-Hungarian fort from the First World War
- Malga Canvere: from Castelir along a forest road, 6.8 km, 3 h 05’, +430 m, medium; you can carry on to Malga Bocche (another 3.4 km)
- From Bellamonte to the Alpe Lusia slopes: from the information office, 9 km, 3 h 15’, +540 m, medium
- Val Venegia: from Pian dei Casoni (about 10.5 km from the residence), easy, about 1 hour to Malga Venegia
03 · SLEDGING AND CROSS-COUNTRY
For those who don’t ski, or not only.
Bellamonte has a proper sledge run, with hire on site, and about 14 km away is the cross-country stadium of the 2026 Winter Olympics.
