01 · EASY
Forte Dossaccio, back to the Great War.
The most relaxed snowshoe route in the area starts from Castelir and reaches an Austro-Hungarian fort from the First World War.
- Start: Castelir, car park at the first bend of the ski area road
- 8.1 km, about 3 h 15', +330 m, highest point 1,830 m, easy
- Recommended season: January – April
02 · MEDIUM
Malga Canvere, and beyond.
A wide forest track climbs from Castelir to Malga Canvere; if your legs are still willing, carry on towards Malga Bocche.
- 6.8 km, about 3 h 05', +430 m, highest point 1,970 m, medium difficulty
- Continuing on to Malga Bocche: another 3.4 km, about 1 h 15'
03 · MEDIUM
From the village to the slopes.
From the Bellamonte information office the climb follows the signs for Larcionè, Baita Ciamp dele Strie and Passo Lusia.

- Starting in the village: from Residenza Larici the centre is a 5-minute walk
04 · EASY
Val Venegia in winter.
From Pian dei Casoni, about 10.5 km from the apartments, the forest track leads to the mountain huts with the Pale di San Martino straight ahead.
- About 1 hour to Malga Venegia, then about 30 minutes to Malga Venegiota
- Malga Venegiota is closed for refurbishment from 31 August 2026
- In winter 2025/26 the car park at Pian dei Casoni was chargeable; if it is full, park at the Paneveggio visitor centre
